It is very hard in a place like Hollywood to make your mark, especially when you have a superstar mom and dad like Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. Well, Rumer Willis, the couple’s first born has proven everyone to be wrong through her stupendous performance at Dancing with the Stars.
While, the 26 year old has definitely made her own mark, yet according to her, the road was not an easy one. Rumer Willis says that she and her other two sisters were constantly bullied by people they did not even know for being the daughters of two well-known celebrities. The singer reveals that she was commonly referred to as the “Potato Head,” and she had to go through a lot of unhappy moments because of that. She even tried changing herself according to what her peers and friends wanted her to become, but it simply added more to her insecurities.
Demi Moore, 52, also feels the turmoil which her daughters had to go through especially during their teenage years. According to her, it was really heartbreaking to see her daughters going through such a hard phase because of how their physical looks and their background. Moore also blames the media, especially the tabloids, for adding more injury to insult by being a part of the bullying process. The tabloids published a lot of criticism on the Willis’ sisters when they were naïve and were in their teenage years. However, the parents showed a lot of support and love to their daughters, which have made it possible for them to achieve what they want.
